Brazilian Vehicle Sales Date By Model 2019

Chevrolet Onix was the best-selling passenger vehicle in September with 21,044 sales, by the Chevrolet Prisma with 8,946 sales, Renault Kwid with 8,826 sales, Ford KA with 7,891 sales, Hyundai HB20 with 7,145, VW Gol with 6,850 sales, and VW Polo with 6,282 sales.
The Fiat Strada was the best-selling LCV in September with 6,573 sales, by the Fiat Toro with 5,697 sales, VW Saveiro with 4,247 sales, Toyota Hilux with 3,187 sales, and Chevrolet S10 with 2,957 sales.
In ANFAVEA's sales report by fuel type, sales of flexible-fuel vehicles was up 8.3% y/y to 194,701 units (market share of 86.9%), diesel vehicles were up 12.5% from a year ago with 21,516 units (market share of 9.6%), gasoline vehicles increased 10.6% to 6,533 units (market share of 2.9%), and hybrid and electric vehicles increased 342.0% to 1,264 units.
